Simple Icon Question [resolved]
Hello;
Having been in the field for less than a year now, I am realizing that I should be building my own Icon librairies. I am having difficulties finding good sites that offer .ico files for free, and was wondering if anyone out there could steer me in the right direction. In particular, I am looking for an icon to change my mouse pointer in my vb app to a hand on MouseMove, and a clenched hand on MouseDown (for drag and drop operation). Any tips on good ressources would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

very cool...thanks so much....I don't know how I missed these icons at VBAccelerator.com - I do find it challenging finding the .ico and .cur files in particular which of course are required in VB when you want to play with the cursor....oddly, I am still on the hunt for an icon of a hand open, and a hand clenched - the same ones used in Adobe acrobat reader when you grab the page and scroll. Maybe Adobe has a tight copyright on these images? At any rate, I have downloaded evrything from the site you referrred me too and have started a very nice library - much obliged!

Not sure on the laws off it, but just save the resource as bmp and compile it into a *.ico file - and its yours
