Sounding a Sound
Hey all, Need a wee bit of information.
What code is involved in making a sound go off from a file? like for example,
Lets say i have a button, and i click it, i want it to activate a sound file that i have on my computer somewhere. How would i do that?
And furthermore, what fileformat would it have to be in order for the sound to work?
Any help would be appriciated

Thanks for the link, but im not quite sure how to modify that code to make it work for me.
I guess really what im looking for is this.
How do i execute a predetermined sound file? I dont need to be able to select a song or anything, just need a predetermined sound file to execute when i trigger it.
Like through a button, or when a timer reaches a certain point, or something.
If that code is the code i need to do it, then i guess i cant cause that completly lost me :-p
anyway, thanks
