    connecting to ftp server using vb.net

    Good day

    Im a newbie programmer in VB.NET. I just want to know if there is an ftp class which I could use to connect to an ftp server.

    But if there is none, how to connect to an ftp server, and to transfer files between them. Im trying to create an ftp uploader/downloader program using drag and drop events using listviews.

    you need to add a control called microsoft internet transfer control to your toolbox. that allows you to select http, ftp and a handful more. check it out.
