hello;
i have two sets of points, making 2 curves,
i need to measure the distance between them (similarity measurement) given that they differ in length and height,
attached an example....the two curves looks almost the same if u shift one to the next...how can i align them and measure the similarity!
well it almost looks like the other one is wider than the other, do you think scaling it would help? for similarity you could take the standard deviation

writing software in C++ is like driving rivets into steel beam with a toothpick.
writing haskell makes your life easier:
reverse (p (6*9)) where p x|x==0=""|True=chr (48+z): p y where (y,z)=divMod x 13
