    Hi,
New Riders appears to be the most comprehensive book i am aware of. There is 1 for the architectures (70-100) and a combined one for desktop and distributed (70-176 & 70-175).

It coffers everything from ADO to Source Safe.

Hi, no matter what, the best you can do is invest in Transcender software.
They have a MCSD package and they prepare you the best!

    Good luck,
    André

Yep. Transcender is great. Especially the Architectures exam. You'll know what to expect after doing a transcender exam, 'cos the 70-100 exam is no ordinary exam!

    Thumbs up Trancender rules!

Just wanted to add a little support to the trancender lobby! I don't think I would have passed without it. I passed quite easily after using it though.
The questions are so realistic that I'm sure a couple of them were identical to those which I had in the exam.

Also, avoid the brain dump sites. They will only confuse you and there is no guarantee that there answers are correct.

    Good Luck

The actual exams aren't overly expensive, so when we were looking to do the MCSD, we just enrolled two of us to do one of the exams. No preparation, just rocked on up to see what they were like. Cost us about AUS$120 each. Walked, sat dwon, did the exam, and got 91% and 88% without any study. Yay!

Saves you money on books doing it that way. Granted we have only trialled the one exam so far, but it was fun. If you're a decent VB coder, they aren't too difficult.

Probably only a viable option if you've got spare cash or your work is paying for it.

    Thankx guys!

i'm little bit more relaxed, couldn´t find minimum "worthy" advice!

I've never heard of transcender software, could u guys point me the way!

I'v also heard of sites who make practice exams, what u think about them?

And u guys think there aren't real good books that are worthy?

    Thankx again!

In case you haven't found them yet

    http://www.transcender.com/

They have a few free downloads that give you an idea of what to expect before you buy the full-blown versions.

You could always start gently and just do the one exam and get that *coveted* MCP.

    Not nearly so tired now...

Haven't been around much so be gentle...

I must agree all of you. The new rider books are sufficient, and the transcender test exams are great. I'm doing the 70-175 exam next tuesday, and it's the first exam I'm doing without transcender test. I mis it already.
