Difference between HashTable and PropertyCollection???

I have had a look, and apart from their name, I can't find any difference.
They both have exactly the same properties and methods. And code for one works for the other.

So what is the difference?

I found the property collection under 2 places.
First one thats used for active directory and the other for a collection of properties that can be added to DataColumn, DataSet, or DataTable.

Ive never heard of propertycollections in .net before you made this thread.
