ADO.NET How do you use it

Hello every one. I am having a confusing time. ADO.NET is really good according to what I read but errr I am trying to get the features to work on this project I am working on.

Spacifically, I want to be able to insert, update, and delete stuff from an Access table. I have a GUI and table setup already but no dice on the ADO.NET usage. I have read many snippets as well as chapters from books. It is very confusing because the examples never work for me. I tried to use the automatic sql writing from vis studio .net 2003 but no avail. I am currently trying to use this automatically written stuff. I am lost please help me find my way. I am attaching my project as well as database.

This is the project itself.

I was just wondering if the person who looks at this may have an idea or may not but I still can scrap the whole thing and just use part of the ADO.NET features instead of all of them.
