Transferring records in Excel to Access

Is it possible to just copy existing record entries from an Excel spreadsheet file into an MS Access table?
Assuming that the fields in Excel and Access correspond to each other, is it possible ot just transfer records from Excel all at a time without having to re-enter the records one by one into Access?

    yes

I have used the good old cut and paste to bulk load over 1500 records into access before.

If the records are not an exact match then you can use the "create table by entering data" and use Queries to mave the data around after.

In fact I once had to go as far as to create tempory forms and tables and queries to bulk load related data into access. It can be done with out dificulty though.

on the excel side of things some of the values came from formulas and that was not a problem.
