I've tried ms agent and vtext with no success. Anyone know of a cheap text-to-voice control that doesn't use ms agent?
Thanks,
Jon

MsAgent works fine for me. Try to find the problem.

Make sure you are using the correct method to make it speak. In this case, it's the Speak method.
Code:
TextToSpeech1.Speak "Hello"

Thanks guys, but I'm looking for a BETTER text to voice control that doesn't depend on ms agent. Maybe something with more options...distortion, etc.
I'm willing to pay for a control that doesn't use the ms agent.
Any ideas about DIFFERENT controls?
Thanks,
Jon

There is a program called Dragon Naturally Speaking. It's fairly expensive, but it does come with some speech controls.

Hmmmm
I can't get MSAgent to work! Every time I try to load the component on my form, my VB craches. Even if I don't put in any code...
