Office XP Setup
Hi,
We have an application here at my office that has been acting weird lately.
When it starts up, Windows Installer starts running and telling the user that they need to install some features of Office XP.
It will keep on prompting the user until they do so.
Did anyone experience this before?
Thanks,

Not weird. Some features in an app require office dlls/files/features which probably weren't installed the first time.
For example, I opened up a CSS file in Visual InterDev the other day, and I was prompted to instal something from the Office 2K CD. The prompt never appeared after I installed it.

It happens all the time on Win2000 at my college. Say for instance you open word, it comes up Installing Office 2000 and Clipart blah blah. Its a pain, it comes up in VB too. But maybe thats because its on a network
