    .net could not be installed

    I have this problem installing DotNet IDE

    [06/18/02,16:13:54] VS70pgui: Failed to increment max
    steps for small progress. Logging as event not error ... noncritical.

    After that i downloaded the framework.net, MDAC 2.8 &
    ODBC.Net

    And they were well installed very well, then i tried once
    again to install DotNet


    I followed the steps og this link, but it did'nt work

    Any others suggestions????

    Its probably a bug in your installment of .NET... Thats kind of strange though....

    I had similar problem when I first got VS.NET 2003 . I tried to install it 10 times but no avail , then I thought to start from clean XP install , installed VS.NET 2003 again . Now it's worked . So , if you're desperate , install your OS again and install .NET .
