Installing VS 6.0 when VS .NET Exists Error!!
I recently installed my Visual Studio .NET 2003 on my new machine and there were no problems, I then realized that I still needed to use my old Visual Studio 6.0. When I installed that, at the end it came up with a message like, "unable to register the javasign.dll on the system" I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but to no avail. If I open up VB 6, I get the windows installer message, that is looking for some MSI file which I do not know, and then after I cancel that 3 times or so VB opens fine...any idea how to satisfy the windows installer and eliminate this annoyance? Thanks!!!

Sleep mode
I had similar conflict between VB6 and XP Front Page . After I installed it , and I ran VB6 , it tells me same annoying message . Simply , it asked me to insert XP Office to do something I don't . Then this fixed the problem . So , give it what it asks for or uninstall conflicting program.

RESOLVED
Apparently it corrupted a file that another application was using on my system, so I reinstalled THAT app and all is well now. THanks!
