we were going to use 4 of donet magic controls
    1. menus
    - couldnt even get them to work properly in the designer, exceptions everywhere from the controls, (that was scrapped the first day)

    3. wizard control
    - got it half working, then it wasnt very user friendly for customizing, so that was scrapped (using regular tab pages was much better)

    4. docking
    - after hours of trying to get it to work we finally did, it was in the project until close to deployment, then it was acting up out of the blue, sliding wasnt working.

    2. tab control, ahh the lovely tab control, work REALY NICE
just the night were were doing our final tests for deployment, our icons on the tab would disappear at run time,
cut and paste the control back on the form, it would work for a bit then icons were dissapearing again
so we had to take that out too

Listen , if you want to use cool stuff , just open up the browser and type www.codeproject.com . It's open source for hundreds of controls . The guys there post for the sake of challenge as I can see . It's real damn cool .

We decided to scrap their docking control as well. Just couldn't really find a solid way to make them slide out and back in on command (and most importantly, make them stick programatically).

Of course, in the end, we totally ditched our fat client and moved to a web client anyway.
