I am a novice user of Visual Basic. However, I have development a few standard VB application. I need advice on the following matters:-
1) I would like to try the IIS application development. However, when I tried to create a project using IIS application, I was unable to do so. I always got this message "Internet Information Server or Peer Web Services version 3.0 or later must be installed to run web classes". I am running under Windows2000 and Visual Basic Pro 6.0.
2) Can I convert my existing standard application to be web enabled? What steps should I take?
TQ in advance for the advice.

If I am, and I think I am correct in this, Personal Web Server is on your Windows Disk
You need to install as it doesn't install with windows.
If you can't find it there, you can download it from Microsoft.
It's a freebie.
Once you have it installed then you can get down to business.

First, you have to install Personal Web Server (I'm assuming that you're running Win2000 professional). Make sure that you install it with FronPage extensions. After you install it, you can create web projects using your computer name as a Web Server. I would recomend to use Visual InterDev instead of VB.
