    File Search

    My friend and I have a network set up between our two machines (in a Residence Hall) and we share our music. The problem is, he has a Mac and has a lot of files that have no extensions. I have no way of playing these files without searching through literally thousands of folders and looking for them. Is there any search tool that will look for files without extensions and change them? Or even just look for files w/o extensions.

    Seems like a complete waste. I am just looking for a tool to search for files without extensions, surely something like that exists.
