Pagani Zonda All the way, will set you back a good £500,000 Squid or more though. Looks nice and truly is a beast, from the moment the engine roars from leaving the house, to coming back from kicking everyone's ass in a street race. Car does about 0-60Mph in a whooopppping!!!!!!! 3.62 Secs or so, and they said Meclaren F1 and Meclaren F1 LM is the true supercar, competition is around now though - and here it is! Enjoy people
I can't/won't stretch to the huge cost of the STi when it's only marginally quicker (0.8 secs) and handles in exactly the same way!
You can get the performance pack for the WRX which costs only £1600 which makes it actually faster than the STi, and has more torque at lower revs.
The new Opel/Vauxhall Astra is powered by the exact same ECOTEK 197BHP Turbo engine that's in the old one! Its a nice looking motor, but I prefer the old version. Sorry Vauxhall!
I think people have gone barmy with all the comments BTW!!! £500,000 Pagani Zonda's!!!???!! I said i'de haggle on the cost, but I doubt they'd drop it to £20K!
I like the Zonda... but i'de rather have a Kournigsegg (SP?) Don't take the piss... not even Top Gear could spell it right!
It's officially the fastest car in the world, until the Daewoo Matiz 1.0i came out!
I drive a Peugeot 106 Quiksilver at the mo... and used to think it was pretty quick... until I drove the outstanding Honda Civic Type MK2... and it really puts the pug in it's place! That gear change is bloody superb! DROOL
I've had a 1989 Peugeot 205 Roland Garros Special Edition, and that was fab, although a little hungry for clutches!
Then I swapped it for my Quiksilver... and i've been extremely pleased with it. It's NEVER broken down, nothing's failed... it just goes! It's now nearly 5yrs old (99V) and there are a few squeaks from the dash... but i'de recommend Peugeot to anyone! A friend of mine had a Pug 305... it went round the clock twice and was still running sweet before he crashed it into a ditch! Fool.
Peugeot engine's are very strong, durable and capable... but the noise lets it down slightly. It's not loud in any way... it just sounds like a hair-dryer on charlie!
I actually went to buy a Citreon Saxo Furio 1.4i, but then spotted mine on the forecourt, and saw sense! Citreon have bloody awful interiors, fecked-up ECU mappings and dodgy reliability! Although Peugeot and Citreon are the same company, nearly all parts on the Citreon are Peugeot originals, but screwed up by bad programming! Shame really!
