[RESOLVED] OS in hardware requirements?
question: Should OS be included in the HARDWARE or SOFTWARE requirements??? Pls explain why...

OS should be in Software req. because it is software (CD) that loads software (not physical components) onto the computer. The OS is what tells other software how to interact with the hardware.

I'd say System requirements.
ASM,C,C++,BASIC,VB,JAVA,VBS,HTML,ASP,PHP,mySQL,VB.NET,MATLAB
Programming is fun, but only if you're not on a tight deadline

I agree with jian2587
It should not be S/W or H/W requirement. It's usually mentioned as SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS, which includes both H/W and S/W.
