html link to a bookmark in ms word

I've created several bookmarks in my ms word document. I'm trying to create link from my html page to a specific bookmark in my ms word document. It doesn't work. Instead of going to the bookmark it always goes to the top of my word document. Any suggestions?

Can't you save the word file to a html page.?

My document is a mail merge so it is one page with a many sections. When I try to save it as a web page the formatting gets all screwed up. Is there a way to link to a particular section?
