    VB.net

    Hi there.

I only really know and feel comfortable with vb 6 (I know many other programming languages also)

but i want to know - what is the main diff with vb6 and vb.net I know vb.net rules but what is good about it over vb 6 in general?

is it suitable for programmers like me who dont do need work programming or really any business type programming?

I agree, search and you'll get the results of when everyone else asked this question, but one think to remember is that VB.NET is not JUST the next version of VB6 its MUCH different. The fact that it is fully OOP helps no matter what kind of programming you are doing (once you get used to it).

After working with vb.net for a week or two, you will never want to use vb6 again.
