    Does anyone know how to use MS Power Point's components
    to write a program which converts a single or group
    of PPT slides in a directory to Bitmap?

    check out the powerpoint object library. i need to do the same type of thing but to a .jpg. i haven't attempted it yet, but if you search for "saveas" in the powerpoint object library (which i have done) you will see that there are some objects that allow you to do this.
