Thread: use control in module?

    Hi,

    I'm not sure if this is possible, but I thought I would give it a shot anyways..

    I want to use the Winsock control from within a module but without having to stick the control on a form.. Is this at all possible, or do you have to stick a control on a form in order to be able to reference it?

    Any help would be appreciated..

    If you want to use the Winsock AX Control then you must put it on a form. Why is it a problem for you to put it in a form?
