Can anyone explain me what are drilldown reports(with examples)? And where are they used?
Thanx in advance.

Its a way of having lots of information available to the user but not having to show it all at once on the screen making thing easier for them to work with.
Say for instance you have a report showing all of your clients with outstanding bills you could allow the user to 'drill down' to the next level and see for instance each individual bill for that particular client you could 'drill down' again and let them see entries on a specific bill and so on.
Hope this helps.

Depends what you are trying to do really but you could do something using the treeview.
These type of reports are usually associated with crystal reports or something similar.
