    Different Installer ![Resolved]

Now , it's time to package my proj after almost two months of coding .... . My question is : Has anyone tried installers (like Inno ,Wise , or Installshield..etc )other than VS.NET's because it sucks , it doesn't seem to get the job well done . ??

NSIS is what the installer Winamp uses and is supposed to be extremely powerful.

I have no idea if there is any type of GUI drag and drop to make it but it uses a scripting language of it's own to create the installers.

I never had a problem with VS .NET's installers though, they seem pretty damn good

Does it provide wizards you can go through ? It's a litte easier and seems to be error-free .

Nope, I just looked at it (just realized I had it installed) and it's a compiler that compiles script into an installer.

It even comes with the source code for it

No wizards or anything like that. If you want wizards, use the .NET installers (It has like 4 different ones and they all seem really good)

this link might help, it is certainly wizard based and has a ghost function so that failed installations can be complpetely rolled back. Getting very close to de3ployment ourselves, so interested in anyones expereinces.
