New to Powerpoint... please help

I recently became much much more involved in powerpoint than previously. I have been assigned with a new project where I need to create a powerpoint slide presentation which will keep my boss informed.

I created a slide show which displays the info he needs. It contains various text and about 20 images with which are downloaded off the internet manually (by me) at the current moment and have to be resized. I figured out how to auto resize them and center them.

What I need to know is there some way to have the presentation download the images automatically from the web. They are static URL's to the images (images are updated but just renamed and saved over old ones). They are not on a local server and have to be copy/paste from the internet.

I've not done this before, so can't give you any samples I'm afraid, but...

You can use the inet component/control to connect upto the net & download a webpage for your use. Try taking a look through some of these threads:
