I am trying to send a break signal from one VB application to another, on seperate machines via the Comm ports. The break needs to be maintained for a set duration, which I have done from the transmitting program. However the problem lies in trying to time the break on the receiving end, which doesn’t generate an event when the break is removed.

Is there a way to check the status of the recieve line on the comm port or any other way to time the break interval?
