WinMe + VS.NET
I have WinMe & want to install Visual Studio .Net.
Is it possible to program in Visual Studio .NET with having the .NET Framework sdk ?
I am asking this because I have WinMe and .NET Framework does not support Win Me & NT.
Trying out VB .NET 2005 Express

VS.NET requires both the .NET Framework and according the to system requirements for VS.NET, you need an OS of NT 4 w/ SP 6 or higher.

ME came out after NT4!
VS.NET runs only on NT-based OS's starting with NT4 and includes Win2k and XP, so it doesn't run on WinME! However, the .NET framework can run on 98-based machines, including ME.
So although you need an NT-based OS to develop apps, you can run them on either NT or 98-based Windows!

The picture isn't missing
anyways WinME is a very crappy OS... more crash prone than 98. you're better off using 98 than ME! ofcourse 2000/XP would be way better
