Thread: What kind of games can i do with vb 6.0?

    I was wondering if its worth to take a advanced class on vb or switch o c++. My point is, is vb able to create a game ex. Diablo - or better rpg, or do i need to learn other prog. language?

    You can use VB6 with the DirectX SDK to do 3D graphics, but its still slow and creaky. I would say C++ is the only good game programming language, mostly because its powerful and fast. Assembler is too overboard, Java is too slow, VB can't do the math as well, and C++ is perfect.
