Unreal map specs?
I can't seem to find these anywhere and I would almost believe that Epic kept it under lock and key...
But since I saw quake to unreal map converters somewhere on the internet, that would mean that there is a map spec out there
Anyone know where to find it or has already written such a document?

Hey Everybody!
Do you want a convertor or a spec? I did a google search and came up with this page.
http://www.gametextures.com/G3DU/tools.htm
There is a conversion utility called BSP2T3D and it says that it comes with the source code. It'd probably have the file definition with it.
