C++, VB and COM
Hi, a friend of mine asked me this question and I wondered if anyone here can help me answer it?
"I've created an interface using C++/ATL which I can then implement in a coclass. What I want to do is to now build a VB COM object which implements the same interface. Is this possible or can VB only *use* a C++ coclass I've implemented in a COM server?"
Thanks.

With vb, you can only call on publicly accessible methods held within a compiled C++ dll file...

add a reference to teh tlb file (you may have to manually register it ) in your vb project and try to implement it in a vb class in the normal way
(at top of class type implements and see if it is in the drop down)
the idl is all that matters
if its not to huge of an interface, you can just retype it in VB
