any ctl wont be placed in form

Ok.. I am in deep crap.

Somethign happened to a system I was modifying and now the forms wont take the ctl on them. I double click on the ctl to place one in any form and it just wont do it. ANY CTL wont be accepted. What is this?!?!?!?

Q1: What if you draw a control onto a form, instead of double click?

Q2: Do you have any backups of the progie before this happened?

Q3: Have you done a complete shutdown and restart, then try doing your control?

Q4: Just how many controls are on your forms?

Q5: When all else fails, make a copy of your project folder, and see if that works alright.

Q6: Perhaps some stray something is remnent in your project files that shouldn't be there. Use a text editor and inspect them.

Q1: nothing stincken happens.. with any ctl in any form

Q2: Yes.. all of the form in all projects when crazy, each time I would open one to try to rescue... it would do it

Q3: Yes

Q4: No ctls any more.. I went to edit the form manually in notepad to take them all out because my form wouldnt load with them.

Q5: Did it.. didnt work

Q6: I am looking.. but I dont know what I am looking for....

If that is the case, then try adding some controls to the attached project, ReSave it, rezip and send it back.
