    Transparent Image in HTML

    Is there a way through HTML to cause an image to be transparent. I have an image that I am posting but dont want it to have a white background, I would like it to adapt to the background that is on the given page.

    HTML itself isn't capable of doing it. It's done by using tranparent gif's - plenty info on that around the net. Google's always a good place to start
