    runtime error '20599' cannot open sql server

    I am using CR 7 with VB 6.0. i am running into a strange problem. I created my vb exe and installed it on two machines. one machine has visual studio installed on it and the other doesn't have. on the machine which has visual studio, i am able to view my report at runtime, which is generated dynamically by passing a parameter. on the other machine which doesn't have visual studio i get the following error "Run-time error '20599' cannot open SQL server" when i try to open the report. i am using RDO as my active data source and connecting through a microsoft odbc driver for oracle. i am suspecting that some dll is missing or visual studio installs a higher version of some dll.any help on this is highly appreciated.
