    crystal report

in my report I grouped by a sequential number generated by the DB and then surpressed that field. I have a date field showing instead...is it possible to ORDER BY the date field instead of the feild I am grouping by?
It's tough being an unhandled exception...

If you want to group on a particular filed but order the groups on another field then you must order them in your select query and in 'Chane Group Options' (Change Group Expert) change the sort order to 'in Original Order '
