Production Software Problem
I have a piece of software I developed that uses FlexGrids. Well, I packaged the software up using the Microsoft Packager with VS 6.0 Enterprise. I installed it on a few machines and all ran fine BUT this one machine poped up during installation saying that a file in my software is older than one on the target machine. I decided NOT to overwrite. Now, the user experiences problems with the FlexGrid. I have tried to reinstall but the prompt never came back up. Can someone tell me how to resolve this? Thanks, Jeremy

Did you run complete uninstall prior to reinstall? If not - do it first. Also, you may try manually registering that ocx.

I did a complete uninstall before trying to reinstall. I could register it manually BUT there is already a file with that name registered and it's newer. I tried to manually overwrite the file BUT that didn't work either. Got anymore ideas or do you think that registering it would work? Thanks, Jeremy

It may sound like really waky way to do things but you may unregister old one, rename it, copy and register new ocx.
