How to write applications for Palm OS?
I recently bought a Sony Clie PDA which have Palm OS 4.1
How can I write applications for PDA? Which language do I have to use for that?
I searched for some help on web, but quite confused. Some say I need to write in C++, some say Java or some stress on LISP.
Which is the easiest way to develop applications for PDAs? Is there any free compiler etc. available?
Thanx

Will it run on Palm OS or they are just for Pocket PC?
I'm looking for some more basic stuffs. There are some C compilers for Palm available, but I don't know which will be the most suitable.

The J2ME(Java 2 Micro Edition) can also be used to write applications for the Palm OS. The J2ME is mainly targeted at cell phones, PDA's, Set-top Boxes and other memory, cpu, and display-challenged devices.

I use HB++.
It's a basic language (lots of code from vb can be copied and pasted into the program) and it's free. These can't be ported to windows CE devices or set top boxes though, just palm. They support the Palm OS from version 1.0 to 5 and higher
P.S Do you like your palm?
p.p.s What were you people saying about a Palm SDK? What languages can you use this SDK for?
