Remote Administrator 2.1 problems
Hi, all! Been a while, huh? I use this program called Remote Administrator 2.1 to remotely control another computer. Anyway, I've been having troubles with the Windows XP Home Edition's firewall. It won't let me connect unless I disable it. Is there any way to get around the dang thing without turning it off? Can I set a list of friendly IP addresses to tell it to allow?
Thanks!
Rick

I don't think you can tell it to let through certain IPs (without 3rd party software at least), but you can open up certain ports I believe....
Its in the advanced settings of the particular network connection that you'll be connecting to.

Ah I see it now. If I wasn't so stupid, I would've noticed the setting button there before.
Thankyou sincerely for your time.
