assemblies?
could someone please give me a quick overview on assemblies? hope i don't make someone write too much. lol or at least point me into the direction of a good book. thanks

An assembly is the primary unit of deployment for .NET applications - it is either a DLL or and EXE. An assembly is composed of a manifest, one or more modules, and other files that contain HTML, XML, images, and so on.
The above is straight out of Professional VB.NET 2ed. by Wrox Press.
