IDE is removing files on build
everytime i build a project it deletes some files .config that are in the same folder of the bin dir..i remember sometime ago i saw some option to check which extensions shouldnt be deleted on compilation of a program..but i cant find it right now...anyone knows it ?

I think it always overwrites the old config file in the bin with the new one in the working folder.

no it doesnt, this is happening since i migrated my 1.0 prog to 1.1(vs.net 2003) and anyways that would not make ANY SENSE as if a user wanted to store settings he just couldnt because the files were getting always erased in the build event!
any ideas..? or will i have to make the project in the old vs.net 2002?

Well at least with 1.0 and VS 2k2 it overwrites mine. The user wouldn't be building the app, he'd have a compiled version and thus it wouldn't be a problem.

under 2002 he is not deleting it, anyways i wanna try the app with the config file and making changes seeing if everything is working...bah
