    one small suggestion:

    after the file is encrypted how about deleting the original, since your program seems to recreate it after encryption.
    currently im forced to do that myself, not ver ysafe, considering i've already encypted the file and think my data is safe!
    by the way what method of encryption are you using?

    im not really using any fancy method. its just a custom ASCII jumbling method. its a bit hard to explain exactly how it works. best to look at the source.

    and btw, good suggestion. i cant believe i never thought to have it erase the original. well, ive already updated the program with that option in it. but i found a few bugs that need to be fixed before i will post the improved code on here.

    OK i finished fixing all the bugs that i could find, as well as adding quite a few improvements and refinements to it. download the updated code from my first post!!

    i have added even more features and fixed more bugs in the code. i have updated the attachment on my first post, so just download it to see the new code.
