    I am working on a project for one of my EE classes in which I am interfacing an 80x86 with my PC. I will communicate with the 80x86 using a VB program. Based on instructions from the 80x86, I need to be able to send characters to another program (i.e. I want my VB program to emulate a keystroke). Please help!

    I don't quite understand what you are saying, but why don't you use the SendKeys function?
