There are several threads that I would like to follow, primarily due to the fact that I have no idea what the answer is and I'd like to find out.
I have it set that if I reply to a thread I'm notified of subsequent replies. Is there any way to set this without replying?

On the bottom of the box (when replying to a thread), uncheck Email Notification and you will not receive any emails about it.

I think DerFarm wants the opposite of what you replied.

Sarun's right. I want to follow a thread without having to remember the person/subject.
Right now the only way I know how to do this is to fake a reply and await notification. I'd like to get notification without a fake reply.

There is no way. But you should re-ask this in the Feedback forum. The administrator will look at it there.

As long as you have Email Notification checked, dragonyian, you would receive email. And if you were to delete that post, you would still receive email.
