word automation

this may seem a simple question, but here goes. i have designed a word template with four of the same layouts on an a4 sheet. Using a gui designed in vb, i can enter 4 different names and print out the sheet. But if using the gui i want to enter say, 8 different names, how do i automate word to print out the 8 names using the template i have designed. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Can you manually simulate what you want to do while you are in Word? If so then record a macro while you are doing it and edit the macro to see how Word does it.

cannot record a macro in word fro what i want to do, i cannot enter text into a form field. still need help
