BitBlt Transparancy - Similar in DX?

How can I do the same work as transparent BitBlt, with DX?

Its a good site but I still cant figure out how to blt over a background in windowed mode, use that site + the DX SDK.

Isn't the "Getting started with 2D graphics in a fullscreen environment" tutorial at directx4vb.com easy enough for you???

The meaning of www.directx4vb.com is: Direct X for(4) VB
It has DirectX 7 and 8. Even a started page of DirectX 9.
