getting threw the firewall
I go to Frostburg state in Maryland and we have a firewall here. Very normal to have a firewall these days, my problem is that the firewall is blocking pretty much every port cept 80. One of my classes uses the internet to contact a server out West somewhere and at first the firewall blocked it from working. Then our professor told us to download this program to get it to work. I am wondering if anyone can decompile this program and then find out how it gets around the firewall and maybe help me out with a way to get FTP and what not back. Any help would be greatly appricated. I just need a way around this firewall and i know there is a way around if they can make this program to get around it for my class.

Re: getting threw the firewall
HTTP uses port 80 as default or 8080 when WinProxy is used . FTP uses port 21 as default .It's difficult to overcome firewalls unless you have the right tool .I did a quick search and get this page that explain the concept .
Try searching for some hacking tools , I'm sure you can browse the net as your pro.
