I need to change a registry setting. But I'm new to API so I don't know how. Please help me!!

The setting I need to change is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\AdvancedOptions\MULTIMEDIA\PICTS\CheckedValue

I need to set it to "no"
