I Would lik to make a VB Program and be able to integrate in it a CreditCard Reader to be able to the Creidt Card Number and what ever details I need when it is scanned by the Machine ...

I was wondering is there is a Standart Protocol or library to interface such devices or is it required to contact the manufacturer and get an agreement ... ??
