    font list problem in word 2000

    hi

    The font list in word 2000 only left with 2 roman font type and 1 font size ...

    I have tried removing the office folder and reinstalling but to no avail ... and also using tweak UI to repair the windows fonts folder ... excel 2000 dun have this problem ... only word and powerpoint got this problem

    i m running win me ...

    anyone knows how to resolve ?

    Word has several command line parameters with it (if it's 2000 or later, not sure about earlier versions). You'll have to look them up on the net 'cause I can't find them in the helpfiles, but there's several options under there like detect & repair which might help you here.

    Also, if Excel picks the fon't up, it's not a windows problem, but an application (powerpoint & word) problem so leave the fonts folder along or you could cause more problems.

    I have tried removing the office folder and reinstalling
    Always remove programs via the control panel add/remove programs option rather than deleting the programs folder!
