How can you disable windows 98 to shut down to ms dos?

There a two possible answers to your question.
1. You can search your ass of in the regestery to find the key you need and change it form 1 to 0.
2. the fast way is to edit the file in the windows directory that's called "Dosstart.bat". Now make sure the last line says "EXIT". This won't remove the option but it makes the computer reboot after this is choosen.
This has to do whith the Command.com. Windows loads it in order to create the prompt and to make it easy to get back to windows. With this trick your just abusing it.
