SoftSeek has quite a few things on Help File Makers. I am sure you will find what your looking for there.

    I used helpscribble (http://www.ping.be/jg/)
and it's kinda handy, but there may be better help-helpers.

I believe the new upcoming standard is htmlhelp, the compiled html files used in help files from microsoft. I can't find the url right now, I'll look it up tommorow for ya.

    Oh got it!

Check this out! This is a demo but this program allows you to create up to 20 help pages.

I would seriously suggest moving to the HTML Help standard. It supports much more, and seems to be what MS wants to use (one of the biggest reasons for using it - compatibility).
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

Forget what the other people have said to you thus far: If you want a .HLP or .CHM file writer, you just have to go with Auric Visions (http://www.auricvisions.com/) Its a little expensive but it is by far the easiest help file generator I have ever used.

You'll thank me once you see how easy this thing is

    Enjoy,

URl doesn't seem to have a working download Page

    Jordan,

The URL you specified has a download page which seems to be lacking in some content..like a download link or even some text.

Does it still work for others?

    Yep

It's downloading now. It was either a glitch when I tried OR it was something on the page that our security at the office didn't let through. Here at home - no problem.

    Cheers
