    Crystal Report Designer Component Question

    I have Crystal Report Designer Component ver 8 but yet can't work with SQL Server Database, Howcome ?

    What do I need to get in order to build Crystal Reports based on SQL SERVER DB ?

    (The current ver I have works with ACCESS and EXCEL only)

    I am running 8.5 The manual says it will access MS SQL

    well..

    To Desing the report u need crystal reports and to view the reports in the application e.g in vb6.0 u need the control. I dont think there will be any problem in working with the SQL Server Database. I am using 8.5 and it works very well with SQL Server 2000. If u still need to know whats the problem go to the seagate cyrstal site and search for ur problem.
